Chicken Chow Mein

Ingredients:
1 pound thinly sliced ​​chicken breasts
2 cups crispy chow mein noodles
1 cup shredded cabbage
1 cup julienned carrots
1/2 cup chopped green onions
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 cloves minced garlic
1 tablespoon minced ginger

For the Sauce:
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Directions:
1️⃣ Make the Sauce:

Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sugar, chicken broth, and cornstarch in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Chicken:
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Add the chicken slices and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
3️⃣ Sauté the Veggies:
In the same pan, add a little more oil if needed.
Add the shredded cabbage, julienned carrots, and half of the chopped scallions. Cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
4️⃣ Combine and Finish:
Return the chicken to the pan with the vegetables.
Pour the sauce you made over the top and stir to combine well.
Add the crispy chow mein noodles and toss until well coated with the sauce and everything is hot. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
5️⃣ Serve:
Garnish with the remaining scallions.
