1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons grated fresh ginger
Salt and pepper to taste
Olive oil
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). 🔥
Seal the Pork Leg:
In a large skillet, heat some olive oil over medium-high heat.
Season the pork leg with salt and pepper.

Prepare the Pineapple Sauce:
In a blender, mix the pineapple juice, onion, garlic, bell pepper, chicken broth, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and ginger.
Blend until you get a smooth sauce. 🍍🧄
Bake the Pork Leg:
Place the browned pork leg on a baking sheet.
Pour the pineapple sauce over the pork leg.
Add the pineapple slices around the leg on the baking sheet.
Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and bake for about 3 hours, or until the leg is tender and fully cooked.
During cooking, be sure to turn the leg and baste the meat with the sauce from time to time to keep it juicy. 🍍🕰️
